Ino-cho Paper Museum opened in1985 with the purpose of promoting “Tosa Washi”.At the museum we exhibit the history and culture of washi, its raw materials and its tools. We have Washi demonstrations, papermaking program and retail shop.We also offer a place for cultural activities on occasion we also hold international and local exhibitions.

You can attend the class to make your own paper. It was a funny and cool experience. There are also a lot of paper product for you to buy. I recommend to all the people who visit Kochi.

This can be reached by tram or a half hour drive from Kochi. There are only really two rooms, one of interesting things made from paper and one covering the paper making process. There are more English notes for the former than the latter, although...More
