A famous historic tomb situated in a nice park with interesting trails and clean restrooms. There are 2 museums here as well as the Nakaoyama tumulus. A volunteer said he spoke no English but kinda indicated they've dug up the stones and removed things to...More

Kitora experience is free & much more informative. So skip this unless you are really into tumuli. The paintings are beautiful but there is only a small pamphlet in English

Takamatsuzuka Tomb is famous for its mural paintings. But unfortunately, we cannot visit inside. So, what we can see at this site is just a small hill in a park. However it incites us to imagine about the life in the ancient time.
