A really beautiful temple in Nozawa. A few steps to get there, but so worth it. The buildings have the most amazing carved wooden eaves, and it is such a lovely example of that type of architecture.

This temple area was deep in snow when I visited. A very peaceful area and so close to the village. Easy too access by walking along a pathway. Running water and ponds add to the serenity of the area.

Located right next to the 'moving walk' this multi layered temple, trickling stream and captivating forest is certain to calm your inner thoughts. Take the time to slowly walk through this enchanting shrine and meditate on the serenity of the location.

Amazing temple in the snow with great views back over the town. The wood work is incredible. A must see on a day of the mountain skiing

Nice walk looking around at a Temple in the snow, especially like one of the ones up the top with amazing wood work.
