Hill with slope
Jul 2018 • Family
Need a good pair of walking shoes though to walk up the slope. Place is smaller than farm tomita and less crowded but you can take nice picture here with lavender.
Ice cream is average. There are 2-3 cafes and with small outdoor play for young children so it's a nice place to sit down and relax especially the hot weather in July.

Serene and gorgeous
Aug 2017 • Family
The farm is located on the hill and has gorgeous view of furano. There are smaller crowd compare to Tomita hence more peaceful experience. The flowers are beautiful and quite expansive and there are beautiful bunch of sunflowers perfect for photos. The shop and toilet facilities are also very good.

Lovely lavender park without the crowds
Jul 2017 • Friends
Thanks to another Tripadvisor reviewer, I was made aware of this lavender park and I can confirm that while the park is not humongous, it is big enough and yet not crowded like some of the bigger places eg. Shikisai no Oka or Tomita Farm. It was just lovely to stroll through the park with no hassles and then stop for some refreshment in a lovely cafe which looks out to the fields - something which the larger gardens/fields do not offer. We even witnessed a wedding shoot - the bride walking down the path with lavender on both sides was such a lovely scene.

Peaceful and sweet
Jun 2017 • Couples
We went to both Farm Tomita and Saika no Sato on the same day. We were traveling by public transport. We got off at Naka- Furano Station and walked for about 30 minutes before reaching Farm Tomita (easy level walk, but no shade, no signs on the way). At Farm Tomita, there were many visitors as expected, and many of the flowers including lavenders were not yet in bloom (end of June), so we spent less time there than we had planned. We wanted to take the little train Norokko5 (which runs only in the summer months, and there are only two trains per day) to get back to Naka-Furano Station but we could not find any direction for this temporary station. Since we did not want to walk back to Naka-Furano Station in the heat, we took a taxi outside Farm Tomita to Saika no Sato. The ride was about 15 minutes and the fare ¥1300.
As soon as we arrived at Saika no Sato, the whole atmosphere and the mood changed. Saika no Sato is smaller than Tomita, and less than 5 people were there (also because it was past 4 p.m.). Again the flowers in the neatly structured flower beds were just budding. However, there were brightly coloured flowers grown by the paths up the hill. Surrounding the farm were lush forest trees. There was a nice pavilion at the top of the hill , where you could see the beautiful valley below and mountains beyond. The whole time we were there, soothing classical music was played. The farm was quiet, peaceful and sweet. We felt so relaxed and refreshed.
We left for Naka-Furano Station by walking through a short cut, which took only 10 minutes. It is a path through the forest opposite the main entrance of the farm. There is a Japanese direction sign at the start of the path, but it is not easily noticed. The downhill path is quite steep, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with walking difficulty.

Nice flower farm
Aug 2016 • Family
Like other reviewer have mentioned, this farm is not as centrally located as Choei or Tomita Farms. It's located on a sloping hill and is not as crowded as Tomita. There is a small store selling ice cream and snacks in the parking lot.

Hidden gem
Aug 2016 • Family
This is the other alternative to Farm Tomita where it has nice hills with lots of flowers for wonderful photo opportunities. There is a restroom and small stall selling ice cream. Good place to come for photos and avoiding the big crowds in other fields.

Flower farm without a huge crowd
Jul 2016 • Couples
If there was only one flower farm to go (out of the 5 we went), this would be the one. Tomita farm was wayyyyyy too crowded! This flower farm was just nice, had about 10 cars there when we arrived in the afternoon, plenty of flowers to see and plenty of photo opportunities

Lavender fields up on the hills
Jul 2016
It was quite a drive from the other flower fields and it was actually part of the forest park, the lavender fields were not as crowded as Tomita and I had a great time just to walk around and enjoyed the tranquility of the place (until this annoying Hong Kong kid started to scream at his parents who were walking up.... oh well)

Nonetheless, a beautiful place really worth a visit if you are going to Furano

The best flower farm in furano
Jul 2016
Lots of tourists coming during summer, because the farm has lots of different flowers blooming in their big land. Beautiful flowers are all over the place.

Another flower field
Oct 2015 • Couples
As I visited this place in October, only a small portion of the area was covered with flowers. However, we were glad we could see sunflowers here, which were not available in Tomita Farm and Choei Lavender Farm then. Spent some time taking photos of sunflowers. I supposed this place will be much more beautiful in other months. Drop by if you are on the way, otherwise, give it a miss.
