This is a great local park that connects to Brabyns Park and off from the canal path. Lots of wide open spaces, to walk along. Has a boules playing area along with a, crown green bowling green. Also children's play areas. A place to enjoy all year round for all ages.

Take your scooter, skateboards or BMX and a picnic because this place is awesome!!!You will be able o sit on either bench or grass and enjoy watching your child play safely o the skatepark. There are ramps for all, there are big ramps to small ramps and you will love looking down onto the canal

We regularly take the Grandchildren and park up on Lockside. They enjoy feeding the ducks and watching the barges go through the locks. They also enjoy a visit to the adjacent Brabyns park which has an excellent scooter/skateboard play area.

This is a fairly local park near to where we live, which we have used a lot over the years. It is near the centre of Marple and Marple library. There are wide open green spaces for picnics and ball games, lined with trees. There are two play areas. One for younger children with ride on toys. The older children's section has climbing frames, and various rides and swings to go on. With soft flooring and is maintained to a good standard. There are toilets and on summers days sometimes the ice cream van visits. Overall a very pleasant local park.
