I ate here today with my husband, toddler and 8 week old baby. We were given a lovely spacious table with rolling views. The food was lip smackingly delicious. A huge shout out to the beetroot dip and the lamb. My toddler did refuse to...More

A perfect cafe for a great lunch. We came with friends and enjoyed the soup of the day with homemade bread. The cafe is light and spacious with solid tables. One minor minus was the loud speaker music. The staff was very friendly and helpful....More

I’ve visited thistledown several times, and am a Local to the area. The food is always amazing, with lots of creative vegan options, and the farm is just beautiful. Delicious coffee and super friendly staff.

I love this place, the food is so very good and the service is excellent, friendly and welcoming and it was very busy on a Sunday lunchtime so do try and reserve a table.

We have not visited Thistledown for a while and were very pleasantly surprised this weekend. The atmosphere is excellent, not too noisy but a definite buzz. The staff are friendly and helpful, the service quick considering it was a full house. The pizzas were excellent,...More

Remote location in tranquil surroundings. Clearly very popular, however, judging by the number of cars. On this occasion it was just tea and cake, but the meals looked very appetising, so something to look forward to on a further visit.

First visit, but sure it won't be the last! Interesting and unusual menu. I tried the Labneh, which I enjoyed, it cost £6. Cakes looked good. Staff friendly and the location is great.

Hi there - I wouldn't think that this campsite would be at all suitable for mobility scooters. The restaurant might be manageable though and the car park is right next to it.

Moving about the cafe itself and getting there from the carpark will be fine. there is a relatively extensive flat/accessible area immediately around the cafe buildings. I would go to Thistledown if I were organising a visit... More
