Rusutsu resort is a well planned resort, not only for winter sports, but they have convention centre, themepark, wave poll, 72 holes golf to cater for the masses. Bonus: Nearby Mt Yotei served a good backdrop!

Not much else to say other than this is the best resort in japan. Interesting aesthetics inside the resort and a few shops to purchase necessary goods.

beautiful snows everywhere. You can go into the woods and find yourself alone in the fresh powder and screaming. Another great thing is the lift access. You can never get lost.
