The Trabocchi look like dilapidated wooden shacks with long spindly arms supporting fishing nets, as you drive along the Adriatic coast of Abruzzo from Vasto to Pescara. Dine at one - you will not forget the experience!

Beautiful beaches and great shops and restaurants. Scenery is incredible. Great place to spend the day on the beach.

The trabocchi are fun to visit. We were a bit disappointed that you can't walk along them. Most of them seem to be used as restaurants. The sea in this area is also fine.

Abruzzo region is a must... As is the Trabbochi on the Adriatic coast. The best seafood meals and local wines! Highly recommended!

The restaurant is located on an old Trabuchi (fishing shack) The seafood is fresh and delicious. Just sitting, and enjoying the day, sipping a nice glass of wine is a great way to finish a day.

The Abruzzo coast south of Pescara is kmown as costa dei trabocchi. TRABOCCHI are the typical fishermen's machines above the sea, by the shores..
