We had a wonderful tour of this winery with Elena. We really enjoyed her friendly style and the excellent descriptions of the different stages of production of Marquis de Caceras which has been one of our favourite wines for a very long time! The tasting room is spectacular and the wines very much enjoyed. There was NO pressure to buy the wine, although we did, of course! The prices were extremely reasonable compared to elsewhere and we love this wine. I would highly recommend a visit to this winery.

Loved this visit to the winery due to Natalia’s generous sharing of her knowledge and enthusiasm. It was a great way to learn about Rioja wines.

The highlight of our wine experience. An amazing facility where the history, passion and heritage are in the blood of the staff. Passionate people who are friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with. A good variety of wines. An exceptional facility.

A very nice guided tour given to us by a very pleasant young lady (Sara) who spoke good English and explained the processes and methods used to produce the wines. We did the tour which included the tasting and guess what we really enjoyed this (shame I was the driver). We were not hurried at any point and all questions were answered full. A great Morning, thanks Sara.

I need to say that they did not honor my reservation. I had an 11am reservation, confirmed by Elena Gómez in an email, with the request that we needed to be on time. We got there at 10:40am, just to be informed that they had other guests scheduled for a 12:00 tour and we needed to wait. We travel a long way just to be there and it was very disappointing. Elena was on vacation, and poor Sara was left there to deal with the situation. I got to say, we stayed because that was the purpose of out trip, otherwise we would had left to another Bodega.
Having said that, we enjoyed the tour. We had been drinking Marqués de Cáceres for 15 years and we always wanted to visit. We discover many excellent wines that are not exported to US. Sara was very knowledgable and was able to answer all our questions. The tour was very informative. The wines offered to taste were all good, we never felt pressure to buy or leave after it ended. It will be good for them to explore the possibility of mailing wines outside Spain (considering the existing laws). We just bought what we knew we could drink during the rest of our trip, but couldn't mail wine home as you can do in Italy.

This wine house is one a kind, very special wines made properly and with loving care for people planet and they are good wines for value. Forget the Parker rating, this is elegance and still robust beautiful made wines. The winery is worth visiting. Very professional guidance well explained and friendly. Don't for get to take some wines home. Over time they will get even better(from my own experience).

We were just a small group (6 persons) with a very interesting tour guide. She walked us through the place and explained a lot thanks to the many displays available. And of course the wine tasting part was a delight!

Nice tour, our group of 6 were the only people there. The tour guide was knowledgeable and interactive. Tasted 4 different wines at the end. The tasting room was beautifully decorated!
