Well signposted with a small car park - don’t be mislead by the construction in the car park - it isn’t what you’ve come to see 😉. Follow the signs to a footpath up the road and be prepared for a walk as it follows...More

Visited this passage grave whilst in north Wales. Very easy to find with a small car park and off road parking available. The grave Itself has been reconstructed but is safe to enter. One of a few sites in the area worth visiting. Accessible for...More

In a filed with a nice level walk to get there. Total length is about 1 mile. Interesting well preserved mound. Free parking across the road from the field entrance.

Your sat nav will take you to the middle of a main road, but fear not as there are plenty of tourist signs to Bryn Celli Ddu. And ancient Neolithic sites didn't have postcodes, so I guess it's to be expected. The walk from the...More

Interesting visit, short walk to the site. Is worth a visit if your passing through. You need to imagine what happened there to enjoy the site more.

We had difficulties finding Bryn Celli Ddu - there's nothing but a little car park with some tourist information, and a simple sign pointing to a narrow path with hedges that leads through meadows for almost a mile. But then a turn, and there it...More

We actually found it this time! No idea how we first missed this little bit of Neolithic architecture. You park 1/4 of a mile away and walk next to a hawthorn hedge along the farm fields. Well preserved and you can actually go inside, although...More

It's signposted off the road from Llanfair PG to Newborough, you park in a small car park and follow the footpath on the other side of the road
