The Red Lion is a proper old fashioned pub, always a great selection of beers sensibly priced, dog friendly and no annoying background music!

A proper pub with a good range of hand pumped beer available. Staff always friendly. Well priced too. Best bit - dog friendly throughout! We’ll be back later this evening with our 2 pooches and some visiting friends and their dog too.

A cosy pub with a traditional feel, have visited various times but worth noting the great selection of ales and gin/tonics on offer. The staff are friendly and the covered outdoor area is a bonus. Look forward to returning.

We were looking for somewhere showing the rugby at short notice that was dog friendly. We had a few drinks and watched the game - the ales were kept well and lots of choice. Great atmosphere and fantastic regulars who kept the dog entertained!

I called at the Red Lion this afternoon with my dog. What a delightful place , and what nice people. The very friendly regulars made a fuss of my dog, and the lovely young woman behind the bar came out to give him a biscuit....More
