Lovely walk along the canal to this lovely spot! Small museum selling many items, lovely little waterfall which the children loved watching! Cafe, barges and wildlife! Totally sweet area!

Interesting break on a trip, but it is small. There is a town and canal carnival/fete each summer, with very many boats arriving for the week-end. Well worth a visit. Flypasts by Lancaster and DC3 this year! Very impressive!

Three year old enjoyed watching a longboat go through the lock and I enjoyed the peaceful walk. There is little to see inside the centre and we didn’t buy ice cream as little one didn’t like the choice. You can book boat rides here or...More

Take the boat ride from the canal centre. It’s only £4 and worth every penny. Start with a drink at the small cafe shed, and if you’ve got kids, grab some duck food from the centre. They give you a guide on the boat you...More

Well presented small museum that gives you a chance to learn something of the amazing but short period of canal building and transport system of the UK. Huge works that have left England with a fabulous recreational asset.

Sorry. There is one, which I saw at the Canal festival, but sadly I do not have their name to hand. You could try this site for disabled narrowboat hire (I can't put the web-link in this post for some reason!) but none seem... More

I agree with Tesco car park, but myself I would buy a few things to justify using it. 2-3 minutes away is Church Street with a few limited spaces, or else Car Parks in Rickmansworth 5-10 minutes depending on which one... More
