One of the only traditional pubs left in the area. Probably the cheapest on the
wrexham to chester strip. Pool table, dart board, juke box and a decent selection of beverages. Great staff and locals. Highly recommend calling in for a few
Popped in with a group for a few ales some great guest ales on now tried the Lancaster bomber on top form, nice to see the place redecorated while keeping the pool darts and juke box as well as live sports gone from a chavs...More
great place with friendly and helpful locals, recently refurbished to a fantastic standard .
Very reasonably priced pint , as i said its a proper pub so if you are easily offended then bring Ear plugs if Dai Harper is in the pub....:) .
Excellent pub, quality beers and service with a no nonsense attitude....best prices around apparently .
locals are friendly and welcoming...landlord is a gent as is his wife and daughter...well worth a visit for the craic and family friendly. A good find in my opinion!
recently moved to the area and popped in with a friend to check out my new 'local'
barman was very dismissive, drinks were served warm with no ice (and they weren't cheap either)

Went there the first night. Friendly lady behind the bar. Quite basic inside but OK for a quick drink. Second night popped in again. Guy behind bar not very personable. No ice or lemon in my not so cheap g and t! Our son needed...More
Called in for a quiet pint, friendly bar staff.
Not much choice in beer but the beer able is good.
