Lovely little shop and cafe. Just if the main a470 road, in a picturesque location and lots of car park space. Friendly staff, very reasonable prices. A range of welsh gifts to suit all budgets. Food was nice, and again well priced. Would visit again.

Recently I bought a bargain of a good quality fleece jacket. My wife bought a number of remnants for making cushion covers.

I thought this would be more of a operational mill/museum it wasn't. That said it was a nice shop with a coffee shop too. Worth a visit if you are looking for a shopping experience.

I have been visiting this cafe for over thirty years, especially when it was in the old station building. The lure was the cheese scones, I always said they were the best in Wales, but no longer. The ladies running the place were non smiling...More

Called here one morning during our holiday at Machynlleth. Some very nice things on sale but feel that some were a little overpriced. For instance I saw a man's zip up top priced at £35 that I have seen in Birmingham Rag Market for more...More

Sadly fabric isn't woven here anymore, and the café isn't atmospheric as the old station house was, but the cake was very good (almond and praline), the staff friendly, and Welsh speaking, and a vast range of gifts, outdoor clothing, and more unusual cards for...More
