We stopped here on our way to Trollstigen - to eventually end up in Alesund at the end of the day. We stopped here pretty early in the morning, the small cafe was just opening and we were amongst only a few other tourists. The...More

There was a good, free car park by the road, just over the bridge, where an illustrated notice board gave details of the gorge in Norwegian & English. Mr Gudbrand must have been a very bold lover to jump the gorge to gain his bride...More

The waterfalls that pass through Gudbandsjuvet are wild, noisy and fast due to the narrow mountain pass. There are metal paths with fences all around that brings you close but feel safe. There are also restrooms that are free and a cafe which unfortunately was...More

A natural stop between Geiranger and trollstigen. Easy to miss, but a great waterfall and worth the stop. Probably one of Norway's coolest restrooms also.

We are on a group tour and we stopped here to use the free restrooms and to see the water! Rushing so fast, very pretty area. If you have time there is a cafe to enjoy a coffee and the view.

The falls were gushing, the walkways were not crowded, the views beautiful. The only thing that made it better? It turned out we were in the right place at the right time as the strawberries and cherries were at their height. WOW! I have never...More

We stopped here to see the waterfall. They built a walkway that lets you go around to make sure you see as much as possible of the waterfall and the gorge. Also there is a magnificent cafe where you can sit , have something to...More

This is an easy stop on the Trollstigen to Valldal road. The water from the waterfall surges through twists and turns in a gorge it has cut through the rock and the viewing path winds its way above. There is a cafe and clean wc's. If...More

If you find a parking spot, it's a nice place to stop for a little bit. Easy stroll to waterfall. There is also a café, but we didn't visit it.
