Quite a remarkable little village. The art painted on the walls of the houses and public buildings is very special. Paintings by artists, some of whom have come from afar give this place a truly special and unique feeling. This is worth a major detour...More

If you're in the vicinity, don't miss this fantastic, small city, dramatically set high above a beautiful valley and dominated by a castle. The murals are justly famous and were of far higher quality than we could have guessed. We spent about 90 minutes taking...More

For painters, a real delight this village, with magic paintings on so much facades, and also the colorful ochre colors the shade of red, yellow, rosa; many work to reneval so often as it's necessary; for locals and foreigns, for me, so lovely to contemplate.

Dozza is a very pretty town. So clean. The fortress is well worth a visit and the paintings on the walls of the towns buildings are everywhere. A lovely place for a stroll.

All Dozza village is full of murals. I suppose that it was a quiz for painting them. Some ones are very good and integrated into the environment, others better that they weren't painted.

Recommended by our hotel( Hotel Zio Imola - brilliant)..... we were delighted to visit the pretty Dozza village. Beautiful house wall murals in a typically Emilian village. Stunning. Visit the Rocca di Dozza too. AA and Imola Aitken

On a spring day, the air in the field is so fresh and rewarding, you should take a step back from the madding crowds and do yourself a favour. Visit Dozza. You'll never forget, nor regret. And it's only a 40 km drive from Bologna....More
