My husband and I travelled to France and visited the cemetery to specifically pay respects to my great-grandfather on the 100th anniversary of his death. The cemetery was really easy to find, less than an hour's drive from Calais Eurotunnel and parking is available outside...More

Our first stop on a tour of France to visit my great uncles grave. He died 100 years ago this year so it was an emotional visit. A very peaceful and serene place.

I have traveled many war cemeteries from the bigger memorials to small graveyards tucked away in the middle of nowhere. Etaples is the biggest Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery in France. Please go there with respect. Walk among the headstones and reflect on why they...More

I believe you can visit any time during day time hours. There is a lay-by outside where you can park. Just like any other military cemetery it is a very tranquil spot. Hope this helps.
