I have lived in barcelona for over 10 years and only recently discovered this great vintage outdoor market. Most of my friends don't know about it. It benefits from its low profile.

This market is 20 minutes walking distance from the monastery of Sant Cugat. It is worth the visit. It has a lovely antiques market, a library, and some restaurants. The restaurants are the not the best, yet the experience in general is worth the visit!

Hello. The market is in Sant Cugat but it is relatively easy to get to. I have details in my review but essentially you take the FCG train Líne S2 from Plaza Catalunya to Volpallere (I think it is the 10th or 11th stop). Journey takes about 30 minutes and is in Zone 2 so make sure you have the right ticket. Then from Volpallere station it is less than 10 minutes walk away (once you pass by the Mercadona supermarket on the weekend there is often a man in a fluorescent yellow jacket positioned to help direct people the right way, but have a look on google).
I recommend going on Sunday and arriving at about 11am when it is quiet. This gives you enough time to peruse and then have something to eat. The market shuts at about 3pm on Sundays so plan ahead.
It is great, you will probably end up buying something so start making room in your suitcase!!!!
