Book a private boat tour and skip the soulless "fishing village" tourist trap of Girolata. It's become a short term parking place for sailing boats and tourist vessels. Not authentic at all, beach uninviting and garbage strewn all about.

Our tender from the ship took us to this charming little village to get the boat tour of the Scandola Nature Reserve. A few shops & restaurants and places to take snorkeling and fishing trips. The cows on the beach just add little extra
