Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A must visit while in Andernos les Bain- if you enjoy fresh (caught same day) oysters and prawns/ langoustines washed down with local chilled white wine and freshly baked bread - and very good value for money compared to so called posh fish restaurants nearby!

This is a place I return to whenever I can. A working Oyster port with plenty of retail and wholesale opportunities to buy oysters and other seafood as well as bars, restaurants and cafe's to taste the products.

Many fisherman’s huts on 2 coasts, almost all offer sale and tasting of oysters, local pâtés but also other crustaceans. This is typical of the area and to see and possibly taste absolutely 😋

the place is beautiful and you can learn a lot in Cabin 68 which is the small oyster museum. The tour lasts around half an hour and we learn a lot about this shellfish

Very local experience that my American friends really liked.
Discovery of oysters and whelks and...the accompanying pâté.
Great freshness.
Poorly sheltered when it rains

Very cute little port. Typical and full of charm. Perfect if you want to enjoy fresh oysters after a pleasant walk along the boats and cabins.
