Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A large archaeological park with perfect attention. By calling with enough time and for groups of between 20 and 30 people, guided tours are offered with an archaeologist perfectly informed about the entire site and with extensive experience in mythology who is invaluable when it comes to explaining the wonderful mosaics in the town. A luxury.
The only "but" we could mention is that the coach parking lot is quite far from the site and, especially leaving after the visit, the journey is exhausting.

I want to highlight the excellent work of Sergio, the Guide of the archaeological interpretation center of Carranque. Despite working in difficult conditions, such as the heat and on Sundays, he has been extremely informative and friendly, demonstrating great professionalism. Sergio conveys his passion for history in a way that inspires and enriches the visit. It is a shame that, due to the lack of investment by the Junta de Castilla-La Mancha, this valuable project cannot continue to develop as it deserves. Hopefully there will soon be more resources to continue!

The visit to the Carranque Archaeological Park was a pleasant surprise.
We had booked the guided tour on their website. Our guide, Rocío, explained everything to us brilliantly, we were with two girls and she made the visit very interesting for them.
The mosaics of the Roman villa are undoubtedly worth visiting, they are very well preserved and Rocío explained them incredibly well.
At the end of the visit we went to a room that, thanks to virtual reality, recreated the villa in Roman times. We loved it!

A spectacular place for the whole family. The spectacular guide Rocío told us a lot about what that town was like in its day and we learned a lot in a fun way. Also later (with prior reservation) you can go in to see the site in virtual reality. We had a great time. An unknown place very close to Madrid. Highly recommended. Thank you very much Rocío.

Book online before you visit. Despite doing this there had been a fault with the website info and we ended up on a self guided tour, rather than the guided tour we had booked, along with everyone else who had booked that time slot. We were all disappointed. It was still amazing though. Fantastic mosaics and well visible via a raised walkway, all under cover. It would have been nice to have more info. There is an app, but there was no mobile coverage at the site so that wasn't much help ! There should have been more information in the main entrance building, but we didn't get to see any of that, sadly. We were glad we'd made the stop while driving north.

Visit carried out with a cultural group from the AITP Association. We had Juan, a luxury archaeologist guide.
I would like to highlight that to carry out this visit we have spent more than a year trying to manage it. It was not possible until Mirian, from Parque de Castilla La Mancha, attended to us and prepared the visits, thanks to her we have managed to enjoy this wonderful Archaeological Park

If you enjoy Roman archeology, then this site is a must and well worth a trip. The best part are the ruins of the villa and the amazing mosaics. There are few sites like this that allow you to see so many Roman mosaics just as they were uncovered. It costs 5€ entry and worth every cent. The centre is well set up with good toilets, a small shop and hot/cold drinks dispensers.

Fan of the Roman as I am to say.
I love the place, the setting and everything Roman that remains.
Maybe the mosaics are very well preserved.
