Neighbourhood: Fitzroy
Fitzroy is an unusual blend of working class roots, hip gentrification, and a robust bohemian work ethic. Along Brunswick Street and its side streets, you'll find little independent shops where local clothes and furniture designers display their wares. There are specialist bookshops, funky record bars, and quality vintage clothing shops where browsing is the next best thing to buying. Gertrude Street is famous for its cuisine and art galleries, but if you want to buy an old-fashioned snooker table, there is a shop for that too. Small pubs still exist, tucked away on the corners of suburban side streets that serve up traditional Sunday roasts. Live music abounds, and the street performers play so hard you worry to tip them would ruin their concentration. Venture to the Spanish quarter on Johnston Street and you may even find street dancing. It is all happening amidst off-beat street murals and the shuffle of a very funky neighbourhood that embraces both old and new.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We recently took our 84 year old Mum to vArcade for a Mother's Day experience with a difference. They adjusted the program for her when she couldn't understand what to do in some of the sections and kindly provided her with a seat so she didn't have to stand for the 45-50 minutes. We all loved our experience. It was great fun and very different. The staff member we dealt with was lovely and very helpful (going above and beyond). I would highly recommend this centre to anyone.

I have never experienced VR and am not into gaming so I was surprised to enjoy this so much. We did the experience package and laughed and chatted through the microphone/headphones the whole way through. Will def be back for the thrillseeker!!

My two kids and two nephews had a ball playing Rick and Morty here. As only four people could play at a time the staff allowed my sister and I to watch them play on the screens - it was hilarious. We could see what they were doing and what they were seeing.
Well worth the time and money my kids talked about it continuously for the next few hours.
Nice location upstairs inside the Brunswick street bookshop meant that we could look at the books when we arrived early.

Went with 2 friends and had great fun, we had barely left the building before talking about going again. Some of the games felt a bit rushed but everyone had fun and really enjoyed the experience.

Organised a surprise trip here for Father's Day- was awesome!!! Having not experienced VR before we did the variety pack and it was really brilliant for us all- parents and 12 & 13 year old. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for something a little bit different- way better than a trip to the movies and well priced for 45 mins of amazing VR. Great activity for gamers and non-gamers alike as you play individually in your own area but can chat to each other via headsets so share the experience. Thanks Georgia- we'll be back!!

Thank you Georgia for your good humour and patience - four teenage boys had a great time, as heard by everyone in the bookshop below! I would definitely recommend this experience - just a shame you can only fit four at a time. Hopefully as you grow in popularity, you might find more space, and we'll be back with a crowd next time.

We booked for 4pm and made our way out in the team from the CBD for an hour of fun. I was amazed at the quality and value.
Star Wars, ocean fun, space pirates, and 3D art.
My 8 year old boy loved it, so did my wife!
Great value, well executed and SO MUCH FUN

Me and two mates did the Variety Package - it was so much fun and a great first VR experience. The Variety Package lasted about 45 mins. You play approx 9 games, all about 5 mins each. We can't wait to go back.
