Have passed through Helmsdale many times and missed this hidden gem. The 3d experience was amazing and the exhibits were interesting. The Wolf film was excellent. Glad we found it.

Perhaps it was because there was no art exhibition on when we visited, but the overall impression was that this large, modern building was being under-utilised and surely has scope to do much more. The small museum was ok, but again I felt that it...More

The amazing thing about this museum is the tour continues outside the walls! Download the app! The way the story of the Clearances is told is so effective. Cafe was lovely. Disappointed nothing in the gallery though as between exhibitions.More

Visited Timespan after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. Delighted to find an attraction that was completely dog friendly for both the museum and cafe as it is too hot to leave him in the car. Receptionist was really friendly and the museum is small but fascinating....More

The theme of this place is interesting and it’s well pulled off. Worth paying to get into exhibition as it’s always good. A wee gem. Leaves a lasting impression.
