Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Park and grounds are awesome on a nice dry day surrounded by ducks, swans and wildlife. Park is busy but large you can see why.
Only real big let down is the attractions - they’re acceptable for the children but the prices and lack of time in quite periods is a joke (boulevard arcades) £2 for five minutes on a bounce castle or £3 for five minutes isn’t long. I spent £20 in there for 3 kids in less than 15 minutes, would have been cheaper to take them to a theme park!

This has always been one of our favourite parks, and our dog is a huge fan as well. Overlooks the beginning of the Broads and has a couple of cafes to sit and have tea and cake. Watching the sun go down in the evening is a real treat as you get some beautiful views and photo opportunities. The park itself is kept beautifully clean by a lady from a company called Norse and a group of volunteers who do a fabulous job.

Absolutely beautiful park. However website and surrounding maps need updating as it states crazy golf and trampolines which there wasn’t. The toilets are a bit nasty and smelly and could of done with a big clean up
The space is fantastic and right by the water. We had a fantastic day here. My son loved the play park, he went on the little boat of the little lake which was good fun and only £4.00
The amusements area was a bit naff but was ok for a play park
The cafe we popped by to have a drink was lovely and clean looking. Wasn’t very busy
We fed the ducks on the red bridge and a couple of swans
Lots to do and could definitely spend a whole day here and we had brought a picnic

What a gorgeous park. This is a lovely peaceful place. Perfect for watching the boats go by and the beautiful swans and ducks. Lots of benches.
We followed the signs around the large park for the zoo, only to find it closed, someone told us it closed about 2 years ago. Any chance of updating the signs?
The children's play area is big and stocked with all the equipment a child could want.

We had parked in the pay and display so having some time left on the ticket decided to have a stroll around the adjacent park. I am glad we did because it was quite pretty. There is a pathway along the edge of the broad with benches offering lovely views. In the centre of the park are some more paths with grass and flower beds. There is a little bridge over an inlet and you can walk to boat moorings. The Lowestoft Museum is located here but was closed when we visited. At the entrance is a children's play area. Nearby is a cafe, amusements and small boating lake. It's a peaceful and pretty place to visit for a few minutes of relaxation.

Great Park, great children's play area, nice cafe, bandstand, boating lake. But AVOID the mini zoo at all costs, the animals are in a terrible state in very poor conditions. The horses have never been groomed, they were dusty and grimy to touch, in a pen with nothing but dirt on the ground, no hay!
The peacocks had all broken tail feathers hanging off them! It's supposed to be a petting Zoo but there were just 2 scared guinea pigs to be petted. Not a good experience. 😕

I walked through the park today with my grandchildren and the park itself was lovely, however I then took them into the petting zoo which I am surprised is still running in this day and age .There were hardly any animals, all the birds looked really unhealthy even though there were lots of signs up saying bald, red skin is usual in poultry???Many of the rodent cages smelt strongly of urine we asked a member of staff when the petting sessions were,he had to go and ask as said they were short staffed he then gave us a Guinea pig to hold. All in all a rather depressing and sad place especially for the animals there.Really needs closing down in my opinion

Park really lovely, good for a picnic and a kick about with a ball, games etc. The play park is really good with plenty for the children to play on but my goodness, ice cream, drinks etc extortionately priced along with the bouncy castle, canoes etc, make sure you take plenty of money with you or suffer with disappointed children. The equipment is old and could do with a clean and a refurb. The staff are really rude and unfriendly, they could crack a smile!

We haven’t visited this park for a number of years and it was lovely to return. It remains clean and spacious with lots to do - the favourite thing was that the squirrels are very tame and can be hand fed with monkey nuts sold at the cafe or local shops . The car park was quite boggy and the pets corner has suffered through covid ( still there but felt run down) which is why I knocked off the point

Fabulous park on the Broad. Lots of areas to sit, walk and play with the added bonus of direct access to the water. Lots of families paddle boarding or just swimming! Cafe and toilet facilities excellent.
