About
Please note: admission is by prebooked tickets only. Tickets can be obtained from the website www.nationaltrust.org.uk/bodnant-garden Nestled in the foothills of Snowdonia in North Wales, Bodnant Garden National Trust is a garden for all seasons. Located on a Conwy Valley hillside the 80 acre garden descends dramatically from neat lawns and grand, flower-filled terraces, through informal shrub borders, meadows and woods, to a valley of water gardens and giant trees. In the spring enjoy displays of daffodils, camellias, magnolias and rhododendrons; rose gardens, lily ponds, billowing flower beds and wildflower meadows in summer; a treescape of rich leaf colour in autumn; and acres of bright, frosty landscapes in winter.

Very hilly so difficult to walk round
Sep 2021
The gardens were well kept and everything was tidy. The cafe at the bottom was shut but the one at the front of the place was open. The cafe was well organised. The main problem is the whole place is very hilly and difficult for anyone that doesn't walk very well.

Great few hours

What a treasure. Couldn't access the house due to a wedding but it still didn't disappoint. The gardens are excellent and kept my attention, beautiful plants & walks. Best coffee & Cornish pasty of the week. If you are in North Wales I would say this place is a must.

Stunning

Beautiful gardens. So well looked after and a fabulous mix of woodland, meadow, formal borders and views. Perfect for a days wandering and just taking in all its beauty. Allow a few hours - you'll need them.

Best National Trust
Sep 2021 • Family
This was, hands down, the best National Trust we have visited so far. The grounds and surrounding area are just beautiful. Even our 5 year olds really enjoyed exploring and finding all the different quirky areas, bridges, secret paths and water falls. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

Beautiful

Absolutely beautiful site and so so big! Not your standard gardens can easily spend a whole day here. The food from the cafe was also delicious!

Lovely afternoon, but gardens still not back to their best
Aug 2021
Gardens are lovely, but quite understandably not yet back to their pre-pandemic standard. I expect and hope they will have recovered by next summer. Nevertheless, it was a very happy and enjoyable afternoon, slightly - but only very slightly - let down by undrinkable coffee at the Dell kiosk.
