The whole railway is superb and like stepping back in time. Ensure that you visit all of the stations, since they all have their own hidden gems.

Popped in here for half an hour for a coffee. Nice station well maintained. The café served me a very nice coffee and a piece of cake. But when I went back for more they had sold out completely! Thank you to the two ladies...More

Lots of regular events which attract people of all ages. Toy train area that the kids can operate under supervision, good outside seating area, and if steam trains is your thing its a great place to come and sit and enjoy the food and coffee...More

This station and The Great Central Railway, Special Goods Weekend was quite the best railway event I have ever been to, and I say this as a member of The Bluebell Railway. This is how it should be done.

really interesting place to visit you can watch the trains come in I love the smell of the steam takes me back to my childhood then go and have a lovely coffee and something to eat nice place for a family day out

We got the answer from the schedule on their website, which distinguished steam trains from others, and found it accurate on the day.
