Wow. F-111, SR-71, F-15, B-52... the list goes on. It is small but has so many iconic aircraft in one place. The rest of the museum is also great, and I can recommend the Tiger Moth ride!

This made a perfect day out having done several days in Cambridge. Excellent range of planes on display and fascinating history. Well worth the combined ticket with IWM

So much in such an iconic building. There is such a range of US aircraft covering a wide range of history.

Was not expecting too much was impressed by the collection of aircraft there. Centrepiece is the B52 which occupies much of the space. Many other interesting items as part of the overall Duxford complex.

Although the light in the hangar makes some photos hard, the planes & stories of people are very interesting & very well displayed. Hangar 7 is the most modern on the site & has a cafe, so you can easily spend a couple of hours...More

See my main review for the IWm Duxford. This is found in hangar 7 and is well worth spending some time there. remember to go in the main door, which is at the opposite side to the glass font facing the runway!!!!!

An impressive museum with interesting exhibits of aircraft . Has exhibits from various eras . A good day out for all ages, but quite a bit of walking .

Sorry, i have no idea. We were in our motorhome and drove from site to the Air museum, but its well worth the effort. Enjoy your visit

In my opinion you could do both. The American Museum could be visited in 2 hours, with the rest of your time devoted to the other museums/attractions. The advantage is there are cafes/toilets at both sites. I personally... More
