This is the US pavillion, part of the Duxford Imperial war Museum. This very modern building houses some of the most known US aircrafts, such as the SR-71, the U2 and the SAM-2 that down it, the B17, B24,B29 nd a B-52. Many other models...More

Great display of American aircraft - just so good to look at - so big when seen close up. Very well laid out with a B52 (I think) right in the centre. Also a very good coffee bar. Great staff.

Lost count of the times I`ve been here over the last 40 years, but still find more to see and learn about. This is a busy place and always has new and exciting things to see. Especially the ongoing projects in the "working hangar".

Didn't think i would ever go onboard Concorde. Such an interesting aircraft, along with Spitfires flying, brilliant day out, particularly for the boys!

The B52, B17, and many more planes right in front of you made me respect the courage of others to get in them and fly into danger. The engineering it takes to design and build then is amazing. I’m happy to have had the opportunity...More

Wow. F-111, SR-71, F-15, B-52... the list goes on. It is small but has so many iconic aircraft in one place. The rest of the museum is also great, and I can recommend the Tiger Moth ride!

In my opinion you could do both. The American Museum could be visited in 2 hours, with the rest of your time devoted to the other museums/attractions. The advantage is there are cafes/toilets at both sites. I personally... More
