Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place has gone from strength to strength. We used to come here for the asparagus, but now it is strawberry heaven. Very yummy berries, purple asparagus is delicious, and the ice cream great. The friendly girls told us they had made 1002 ice creams the day before! That speaks heaps!

Great place to break your journey. Play equipment for kids and artisan products from local businesses on display. Beautiful strawberries and real fruit ice creams…

Great farm shop, tasty ice cream blended on-demand with their fresh strawberries. No music while we were here so maybe they’ve stopped that ;)

Definitely a must-do in Horowhenua! But agree with the comments about music, too loud and out of place for the beautiful scenery

Beautiful tranquil place with great ice creams. However the overly loud radio playing rap music really ruined the peace

Great stop off for real frozen fresh Berry ice cream. Very low carbon footprint here about 40 steps from the green house to the cone machine!

Stopped in at the White Rabbit at Foxton beach and brought a jar of Lewis Farms whole berry strawberry jam. It tastes amazing! Perfect start to the day with this jam on toast!

We call in every time we are passing to buy asparagus and strawberries during the season. The produce is freshly picked and the best quality. You can pick up seconds grade here too which is great for jams and soups. Up a long gravel driveway you will find the shop which sells coffee and ice creams and other locally made items such as olive oil, jams, crackers etc.

Popped in down long driveway to shop/store, got huge tray of strawberries and a frozen ice cream of the very same strawberries! So yum! Very friendly staff. Heaps of Asparagus bundles of about 7-8 different choices.

The farm has expanded its activities to extend its sales seasons. Asparagus is on sale to the public for variable seasons which can start as early as late September and stretch into January but can be shorter when the weather is unsuitable.
Strawberries are now grown hydroponicaly in greenhouses and we have found them to be of superior quality.
Both types of produce are sold in several grades but prices are always good.
The shop also sells icecreams and coffee and has an outdoor seating area.
Well worth a visit but take care when entering and departing because SH1 is a busy road with a 100km/h limit and there are no turning lanes
