Went with my family and my visitors from Australia. The older lady behind the counter must have woke up from the wrong side of the bed that morning. She was very grumpy and rude. Told the cost for wine tasting is $5 per person and...More
The staff were most helpful and gave us a guided tour of the entire production facility and for a very modest price gave us tasting samples of their range of fine wines. We also purchased some product at a discount
We were at this winery for about an hour maybe two. We tasted 5 wines and unlike many of the other wineries there is a 5 dollar a person charge here. But it is well worth it.

It's about 30 minutes away from downtown Auckland. Uber would be fine ... I don't know how much it would be. It's an easy drive ... however, driving on the wrong side of the road with the steering wheel also on the wrong side/controls backwards ... it's a challenge! Great stop. Great wines. Great restaurant down the road that they turned us onto! Have fun!
