Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great place to be. Lots of people doing things at the Estuary.
Great place to be to reflect and watch the sun go down over the Tasma sea.

Clear track, lots of trees and birds. No loos or clean water or seats for the elderly. More signage to show where we were, how far and what direction. My Mum's in her 80s.That should be in the dropdown list: Parents. And there's no January 2023.

A walk for all the family with beautiful scenery. We came across a herd mountain goats and enjoyed the sounds of nature and tranquility. The weather was lovely too.

Nice place for bird watching and short walk along river. Also there is beautiful freedom self contained caping site nearby.

Horse riders especially like the Otaki River walkway and one can go from the river mouth to the hills. A bit messed up at the moment with the new bridge being built over the Otaki River, but no doubt it will get back to normal.

Walk up or down the river, up is my favourite as it has lots of greenery and places to stop and picnic. Down is a bit more industrial and just stones. Both are great on a nice day and perfect for a dog walk.

These walks are filled with unexpected sights and views. You can go far along the river on a bicycle or for a more short walk looking at birds. All sorts of things to do.

Great walk or ride.
I have done both many times and enjoy it every time.
A good start place for those wishing to practice off road cycling.
Also a much loved place for our canine friends.

Beautiful views, good path and fresh air. You can walk towards the mountains (there's a lagoon on the way a nice peaceful spot to sit) or you can walk all the way down to the beach which can be pretty stunning at sunset. Park to the left just after the bridge when going North.
Great one for biking as well, bike down to the beach and along to Slapsy's for a coffee (or beer!)

Lovely scenery, firm stepping stones, natural resources and a breath of fresh air on the way. There was the river on one side, mountains up ahead and mainzeal works on the left.
