We enjoyed to the trip to Nikko and Edo Wonderland in spite of the heavy downpour while we were at the Edo Wonderland. The journey back to Shinjuku was Long as we need to take a bus to Kinugawa Onsen Station and take a train...More

Nikko / Edo Wonderland tour is a great way to kill a day in Tokyo. Nikko is about 2hrs away from central Tokyo. You're taken there by coach with a guide giving a brief but interesting commentary of Japanese history of Shoguns and the Nikko...More

Loved Edo wonderland !! It was our first time in Japan and friends took us. We loved the shows and the interactive shops baking rice cakes and posing for pictures with the actors and characters. Beautiful and Well kept. We spent the whole day :)

Go in this morning or early afternoon as this place closes quite early. I barely made it on time. Only had about 1.5 hours left before they were due to close for the day. I love the show and the surroundings. I had a fake...More

The park is out of the way, so it will require a whole day to visit. Edo Wonderland is also not very big, and frankly reminded me of a low scale historic fair rather than a permanent park. In the summer it is very hot...More

This excursion is not for someone who has limited time in Tokyo. If you want ot make a day trip to the countryside to visit Nikko, bring warm clothes, it can bee very cool and wet.

Wonderful tour. We greatly enjoyed it. There was plenty of information given. The first part in visiting the Shinto shrine was amazingly beautiful and quintessentially traditional Japanese. Our kids were a little young for it (nearly 4 and 7). The ninja part was a standout....More

my Japanese Uncle brought us here. Wow, it was so much fun to see what Tokyo was like hundreds of years ago. You truly feel like you are there especially walking down the street with the tiny shops and vendors. They have cute shows and...More

We had only planned on stopping by for two hours, but ended up staying all day. Gave this place 4 of 5 green balls just for the sticker shock of the ticket to get in. It was worth it though. You could try your hand...More

Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with
luxury residential buildings and the scene is
constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama
park and Togoshi park are great places to see
beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as
well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a
post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish
old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa
