Some places are good but others are so bad. This is basically not a tourist attraction, even some web sites encourage you to go there with a salsehood, saying it's the safest entertainment area in the world. There're not a few places including small...More

Busy area in Shinjuku. It’s open late if you’re looking for food and shopping. Make sure you don’t get invited to the bar by those people standing on the street. They’ll rip you off.

Among all my visit in Japan, this was the least safest place I've ever visited. The neon lights make for interesting street photography, but that's it. You can stay for the Robot Restaurant, but then please leave. Solo travelers, you'll be approached by strangers soliciting...More

It is a red light district but not like any you may have seen anywhere else in the world! I walked the streets with my 3yr old and wife and if it wasn't for my mate telling us when we returned to Australia we would...More

The place is definitely an experience with bright lights, slot machines noises and bustling surroundings, but guys (especially does who travel solo like me) should expect being bombed by suggestions for message and even sex. For me it just got too annoying after a few...More
