We stayed at the Hilton and could view the Park from our window. We walked through it on a very sunny day and saw many Japanese business people sitting on blue tarps enjoying their lunch break.

I stumbled across this park since it is right behind the government building. It is very green and calm little oasis in the midst of skyscrapers. A waterfall resembling Niagara and a Shrine in the park. Absolutely go here if you pass by or are...More

I stumbled upon this park. Gorgeous, tranquil and a delight to discover. Even without cherry blossom, it was very zen.

I love it here. It doesn't feel like the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku is just minutes away. There is a lovely shrine and Japan's version of Niagara Falls. It is a nice place to stop and rest, watch people and walk your dog.

I run around this park after running yoyogi park. It is nicer than yoyogi. It'a good resting spot for busy working people in the city.

My kids (ages 7 and 9) enjoyed running around the park and playing on the play structures. In addition to climbing, there were a few slides and swings as well. It was honestly a nice break from all the walking in Japan. My wife and...More

Yes you can. There is a section in the middle behind the waterfall (called Niagara Falls) that appears to be an off-leash area. We saw a number of dogs there every time we passed by.
