Really close to Shinjuku, walkable. Nothing opens till 11 or so, so we didn't get to the one place we wanted to go. The shops selling cosmetics are really busy, crushingly so! There are long queues for the cheesy dogs, the queues probably tell you...More

If you are K-Pop fans and you are in Japan, don't forget to visit Shin Okubo. You will see lots of store who sells K-Pop merchandises along the streets. Come around 9 AM, several stores are already open but there are not much visitors.

The Okubo Korean Town is gorgeous! Such a fine historic look of “old” Japan. While there was been some change over the years, it definitely still had its charm.

Hi! You'll have no problem finding other cuisines in Shin Okubo. But as it's known for, you will find a lot of Korean restos around the area and a lot of K-pop merch!
