Too see the Shinjuku area in lights at night was a beautiful sight. Didn't eat at the restaurant, and waited 15 mins to go up in the lifts, but worth the visit.

The Sumitomo building still looks up- to- date so it's a bit hard to believe that it opened in 1974. The top two floors (51 and 52) are almost 200m tall, and house many restaurants, some good, some not so good, but all with amazing...More

I had a few hours hanging around in Shinjuku, went into the Shinjuku Sumitomo Bldg. Free admission to the observation deck, good look at the view of Shinjuku.

Open 10:00-22:00 I went to the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building and it was a great view of the city and Mt. Fuji! I would definitely recommend this only two other people their when I went!

Some nice restaurants found on the upper floors and this is convenient if you are taking a long distance express bus by willer company. The bus stop is on the ground floor. I'd stay at the hotel rose garden if I catch a willer bus...More
