We had our fill of shrines and temples whilst on holiday but this place stood out for us. Very serene and beautiful, and when we visited there were not to many visitors so it felt special.

There are plenty of Shrines in Tokyo This one is just average when it comes to shrines. I do not remember all the names but I would go see some of the other famous Shrines before going to this one.

A great location to observe real life temple usage at a beautiful shrine. Easy access from shopping side of Ebisu station, which itself is a convenient location for lunch.

A place of worship of the residents of Japan who expect good luck in their business. This shrine is believed to have existed for more than a thousand years ago. The area is not too extensive.

I just want travelers to know that this shrine is pretty small and there is no tourist attractions there. Having said that, if you are in Ebisu and have some spare time, I would absolutely recommend a visit to this cute little shrine. It's in...More

There are countless opportunities to shop in the
Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops
that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest
areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's
Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to
recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh
yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast,
Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool.
