Authentic shrine. Mostly quite (not like in Asakusa shrine, lol), clear and good for meditation place

This shrine is built in the quite residential area. It symbolize Yoshida Syoin and his private school called "Syokasonzyuku". Around the shrine, there are many shops associate with Shoin and his pupils. Even New Year's day, shrine was not so crowded. It's a nice spot...More

The shrine praising Shoin Yoshida, a philosopher at the end of Edo era and gave sigificant influence for Meiji revolution. Nice and quiet place.
