Medium sized aquarium. Quite cheap, only 700 yen. Highlight was the Giant blue fin tuna. Unfortunately the day we visited, there were hundreds of school kids making it impossible to see many of the exhibits.

My husband and I went here on a rainy day, it was well worth it for 700yen each. The variety of fish and information given was outstanding for the price paid. Very easy to get to by train.

Assuming you will be getting there by train I think at a minimum you will need to plan your itinerary based on at least two hours between your arrival and departure trains.
