We have tried the beaches around Syracusa , including the nature reserve, the various beaches around Agrigento but this has been the best so far. Kind of regretted going on the last day of our stay in Agrigento as we would have gone back.

We took the challenge and found our way past the Agriturismo, driving down the hill to a small parking lot, and a short stroll through the woods to this pristine beach. Outstanding & deserted on our day in May 2016. Definitely worth the bit of...More
