Our favourite of the 7 paradors we visited this August - very luxurious and spacious, genuinely historic feeling, and consistently just a little bit better than all the rest. The bodega right next door is also well worth a visit.

Renovated monastery close to lovely Asturian town of Cangas del Narcea. Beautiful rooms with every detail right. So quiet and peaceful- you can almost hear the ghostly matins.

Wow it was amazing. The imposant buikding and the way they rebuild it. Luxuery in every way. Rooms in which you can dance and a breakfastbuffet where you can stay and eat during the whole day wit stops in between in the magnificent library!

Unfortunately we didn't see all of the monasterio as we were visiting the vineyard next door and doing wine tasting. It is a beautiful hotel with breathtaking courtyards, it is the place to stay in Cangas
