I went to a wedding on Fraueninsel and it was so beautiful. The lake and the alps were the perfect setting for such a beautiful occasion and the island itself is very cute and cozy. Absolutely worth a visit!

The island is only a few minutes boat ride away and if you stroll around, only about an hour although you could eek it out to 90 minutes but the church is exquisite as are the restaurants with fabulous fish dishes of course.
