This is one old church and everything about it is classic and beautiful. The detail in everything is amazing. Look around slowly and find hidden treasures. If you attend a mass you are in for the complete treatment.

The Chapel is at the bottom of a steep hill, great going down a bit tougher on the way up, and interesting chapel, extremely damp, there is a little pond where the villagers used to wash their clothes

This is really an exceptional church. Some very elaborate decor and always busy. Surprisingly big for a small town. Definitely worth visiting.

The centre of Locronan is well worth a visit. Plenty of old buildings with character. The church was well wort a visit as was the Chapelle.

Lovely little chapel off the beaten track but well worth searching out. Quiet, mystical and on the day we visited, without any other visitors to spoil the atmosphere.

Granite is a beautiful building stone and this town is built of the silvery granite, which simply sparkles in the clear Atlantic sunlight. Locronan is a beautifully preserved masterpiece of 16th & 17th-century domestic architecture, very beautiful and not to be missed on anyone's first...More
