It's a steep climb through the streets of Casares to reach the church but you'll be walking through typical Spanish streets. Once you reach the church there's an amazing view on the surrounding hills and valleys. What's more : most of the time you'll see...More

Whenever we went to the Church it was shut. Today was no exception. The church is located at La Fuente 96 and is adjacent to a large square which has great views.

Was living in the village so became part of every day life. Local funerals were sadly a regular occurance so to celebrate a death was an experience not to be missed.

This is no longer a working church, has changed its name after being restored & is now a community centre so I don’t think they hold baptisms any more.
