Huge showrooms of glassware and also housing an interesting museum of glass works. Appearance to be a castle type building but actually purpose built as a glass works. Large free car park. Viewing areas for glass blowing.

Handwork from the finest. You must show your children, and yourself should you never have seen glassblowing. This is an eye-opener, only 20min from Palma capital. Old-family owned business. Very traditional. A MUST VISIT when in Mallorca.

On the outskirts of Algaida you will find the Gordiola glassworks, an imposing castle like building housing the glassblowers and museum/shop. The museum is free and houses a interesting collection of glass through the ages and from around the world. Watching the skill of the...More

I strongly reccomend a visit. The process of creating glass jars is amazing! The factor is an excellent visit to appreciate handicrafts.

On a rainy day, we found ourselves here and definitely no regrets. Glass blowing demos can be overrated but as you try and work out what they are making, while simultaneously wondering if the blowers were actually enjoying their work, you find yourself eager to...More

Very authentic place. Beautiful courtyard with a variety of sculptures. I do not know how to get there by public transport because we rode around the island by car, but in the same place were self guided tours, so it's not a problem, I think....More

It's nice to remember how our parents and grandparents used to buy dishware before Ikea. Don't just visit the workshop but take a look at the shop. It's expensive but some things are beautiful to see.

In my opinion, this place is worth visiting when you are going to or back from e.g. Palma de Mallorca. You will not spend here much time (about 30 minutes) but you can see in this place some interesting glass items. We visited this place...More

Unless we happened to visit on a bad day I can see no good reason to visit. The museum is dusty and with no explanation of what is in the cabinets. The shop is overpriced with no particularly high quality items.
