Looking at the website I had no idea what to expect. Had read about the place and its deteriorated state. Didn't understand what treetop walk had to do with it. The treetop walk takes you through the complex - the best bits are the trees...More

Yet another amazing place converted into a Walt Disney attraction. It is expensive , with a guided tour you only get to see one or two buildings inside. All the buildings are fenced so impossible to explore by your own. The walk about the trees...More

Had read lots about this and we were eager to explore. Bit of a shame that much of the area has been renovated although it's good to see the buildings being used. Managed to avoid paying for a tour but still encountered the rude tour...More

This place is so amazing, and it has a history of it. I was in the "Men part", but this part is open only for people in guide tour. Directly across the "Alpen Haus" leads the trail in the higher crowns of trees, its interesting...More

Originally built as sanatorium and park to treat Berliners suffering with tuberculosis at the end of the 19th century, this complex of buildings was an almost self contained village dedicated to health and wellness. Its medical history alone makes it interesting, but it also served...More

We did the tour of the old surgery (Chirurgie), which is creepy, and something you certainly do not see every day. We are German-speaking, so for us no problem, but I am not convinced, how other guests would be catered for. I do not recommend...More

Beelitz-Heilstatten is located in Brandemburg at about 45 minutes from Berlin by train, and you have a train every hour. The site is a large complex of buildings constructed from the the end of the 1800 until 1930. It was a medical complex for lung...More

Liked seeing the old ruins and the tree top walk is amazing. To enter the buildings you can book a tour for € 10 per person. Tours are really interesting but was diappointed with the guides on different tours telling the same story. Still great...More

We came there an hour before the guiding tours began, that was very good, because there very lots of people two hours later, so we only had to wait 10 minutes to pay and had time to go on the treetop walk.
