We had a great night here. Good atmosphere, friendly approachable staff and great food. The traditional music was a bonus.

We stopped in for a bite to eat after touring Talisker Distillery. Food was average pub food but atmosphere was outstanding. Great music. I highly recommend going for a friendly, lively time. Make sure they are having music.

The Old inn was a lovely pub . It is central place in Carbost.I would avoid weekends as can be a bit crowded.Hard to park as well. Otherwise was great. The hamburger we had was nice.It is a traditional pub.

Excellent folk session, mostly of a celtic type, on Wednesdays. Plus the good beer and warm, friendly atmosphere that are normal for this place.

I've eaten in the bar several times with no reservation. I always get there early to get the table in the small room overlooking the loch.
