Great value lunch and amazing soup - just what was needed on a cold day after a trip to the Distillery. Excellent service and extremely busy - always a good sign!

Stopped off here with my parents while waiting for our tour at the Talisker Distillery to start. Located just off the main road, has parking, and is affordably priced. Great view over the ocean/loch if seated near the windows, and cosy interior. Food was excellent-...More

Just say in this lovely little pub after getting drenched on this mornings walk. This is a proper pub with a really nice atmosphere and dog friendly to boot. We had a very nice spiced parsnip soup with a very large filled roll which is...More

Try and catch some live music here if you can. Great fun. Food very good and service attentive. It gets very busy and you can’t reserve a table so you might have to wait for a seat.

We enjoyed our time there and it was welcoming and warm. Food was between three and four stars - average burger, great soup, etc. Fair drink selection. I think 4 stars is for being a nice travelers oasis with nice servers! Also it opens early...More

I've eaten in the bar several times with no reservation. I always get there early to get the table in the small room overlooking the loch.
