Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fascinating collection of artefacts and photos from the Don Camillo films. Many of the information panels are in English, French and German as well as Italian.
The €6 ticket also includes two other museums in the village.
For anyone looking for Don Camillo-related souvenirs, the gift shop has a larger range and at better prices than elsewhere in the village.

The whole town revolves around this hotheaded priest because most movies were filmed here so a museum was created. This small museum (1 floor of display) hosts mainly memorabilia (posters, photos, vehicles, film scripts, the cassock used in one of the films plus others) of the filming days and all items related to the character… There was also a guy who offered his services as guide because he acted as a child extra in one of the films and proudly pointed in one of the photographs who he was… the souvenir shop was selling the usual souvenirs plus sweets and wines with the labels of the characters (Don Camillo and Peppone)

A perfect place for fans of the Don Camillo books and film series… unmissable the steam train and the tank!

I grew up with the movies at home, my mother has endlessly spoken to me about the movies, especially the first one. "The Little world of Don Camillo"

When I got to Brescello, it was just like in the movie. I could relive every moments of the stories. From Don Camillo talking to Jesus to Peppone fighting.

The church has not lost its touch. The museum is a real gallery of souvenirs. If you have seen the movies it will talk to you. If not, then enjoy what has once been a real success of satirical humor.

Altough you dont know all the imaginary movies of Peppone andò Don Camillo dont miss this museum!!! A nostalgic atmosphere of a lost world magically sweats from relics and grey scale pictures taken on the scene....If you are lucky you can meet an old man who was a background actor in the famous movies.... There is even a big log placed safely into a case....It has been used by Don Camillo when he once turned very furious.

This is mostly about the films which were much more successful on the continent than in the UK and which aren't all available with English subtitles, even where they are available at all. It is, however, a very interesting museum with a recreation of a fifties film set, lots of artifacts and photos from the films and information about the author of the books. Some information about the exhibits is available in quaintly translated English and two of the attendants spoke our language beautifully. Also, there's a steam train and a tank outside! If you're in this part of the world it really is worth a detour.
