This is my third time visiting and this experience still blows my mind. The depth of puuraakau, the detail, the delivery and energy given by the kaiarahi is such high quality. The embracing welcome and manaakitanga by the kaimahi and of course the performing arts is phenomenal! We shared our tour with a local kura and as visitors we felt the kaiarahi done an incredible job catering to all generations. When it rained a kaimahi was quick to bring out umbrellas. Those subtle touches make this the best cultural experience I've ever had. Makes me proud to be maaori!

Amazing way to learn about the history of initial settlement in the country. Non profit, all goes to local community and iwi.

A must-do experience for New Zealanders (especially if you whakapapa to Kupe!) and overseas visitors alike. Omapere & Opononi are already stunning places to visit. This experience brings deeper insight and connection. Ka mau te wehi!
