In spite of all the fishermen getting out on this beach is great. Open spaces, empty places great ocean views. Go for a walk.

Parking the car at the surf club carpark - a walk south to the river mouth and them up to the bird sanctury and back along the road will take you just over an hour. A pleasant walk.
